I am a lifelong elk hunter with a passion for elk and elk hunting, and a passion for seeing others be successful!
In over 30 years of elk hunting, I have learned that confidence is vital to consistent success. And this Online Course is designed to increase your confidence in every aspect of elk hunting.
My intent with this online course is not to "wow" you with my elk hunting knowledge or success. In fact, it's quite the opposite. I still consider myself to be a student in the amazing classroom of elk hunting. I am fully aware that there are certain areas of elk hunting where I might not be the best instructor so, I have sought out those who I feel are - those with more experience and knowledge in specific areas of elk hunting - to share their knowledge with you through this Course.
I simply want this Course to provide you with the tools and resources you need to be able to experience the thrill of elk hunting and the taste of consistent success!
I will share every single resource, tactic, strategy, mistake, success, and motivation that I have found - and that I use myself every elk season - in the hopes that your confidence will grow to the point where you can expect to be successful every season.
I have been blessed to be named the RMEF World Elk Calling Champion 10 times, and have finished in the top 5 in the Professional Division at the RMEF World Championship Elk Calling contest 20 times in the past 21 years. In 2013, I was even crowned the Elk Calling "Champion of Champions" by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. However, none of these elk calling accomplishments make me - or anyone else - a great elk hunter. I fully recognize that success on the stage doesn't automatically relate to success in the field, and I live for the “real” contest that takes place in the elk woods every September.
For the past 10+ years, I have had the privilege of traveling across the country teaching others how to call and hunt elk, as well as interacting with tens of thousands of passionate elk hunters each year through the multiple platforms that Elk101.com has created. Through hundreds of seminars and classes, I have been able to share my love of elk and elk hunting with many others, face to face. But it has been difficult to physically keep up with such a busy schedule, and demonstrating and teaching something as amazing as elk hunting in a 45 minute seminar or similar venues only allowed me to touch the tip of the iceberg ...until now.

Is the information within the course tailored more for beginners or advanced elk hunters?
The information found within the UEH online course is valuable for every level of elk hunting experience. If you've only ever dreamed of elk hunting, but aren't sure where to start, you'll find it all here. If you've hunted elk, but never tasted success, this course will give you the tools you need to fill your tag. For the elk hunter who has tasted success, but wants to improve the consistency of their success, you're going to find advanced knowledge and tactics aimed at not only helping you be successful, but consistently successful. Even if you've hunted elk for 30 years or more and fill your tag every season, there are elements of this course that you will find helpful and beneficial.
Simply stated, it is the most comprehensive and complete resource for elk hunting ever created!
Does this only apply to a specific elk species, location, or hunting season?
No! 90% of the Course is relative to all elk hunting – regardless of species, area, season, etc. There are sections specific to calling, that probably lends itself more toward archery seasons.
The University of Elk Hunting Online Course includes modules on Rocky Mountain Elk, Roosevelt Elk, pre, post, and late season hunts, hunting cow elk, e-scouting and rifle hunting elk with Randy Newberg. Also included in OutdoorClass are several sections on Rifle Hunting, Marksmanship, Archery Basics, and related gear.

How long will it take me to complete the course?
That completely depends upon how thoroughly you engage with the information. However, Corey has compiled page upon page of detailed information, tactics, strategies, and instruction, so you aren't going to simply sit down in one evening and make it through the course.
Realistically, if you are absorbing the information and taking notes, you should plan on an hour or so each day for 2-3 weeks. You could easily sit down and skim through everything in 5-6 hours, but to watch all the video components and truly learn from the material, it's going to be a process.
How long will I have access to the course?
